Eid in the Park - Eid ul Fitr 2013
On the joyous day of Eid ul-Fitr hundreds of Muslims in Islington, celebrated and prayed the Eid salah in a large gathering in a park in Islington.
Al-Nehar Mosque - Open day
Was a big success with many local Muslims as well as non-Muslims in attendance. Everyone who attended enjoyed free refreshments, free Dawah packs and a guided tour of the exhibition and the Mosque. Later on in the evening a small lecture was given in the Mosque followed by Iftar (food to break the fast).
King's Cross Mosque - Open day
The Mosque held an Open day in July 2013, It was a day full of interaction where the Mosque opened its doors to the community. Muslims and non-Muslims came along and learned about the different aspects of Islam through talks and an unique exhibition on the message of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). It was a big hit with all the community getting together and supporting each other in making this a successful event.
Bus Garage Event
The annual exhibition at Holloway Bus Garage took place in July 2013. Its aim was to educate the bus drivers and their managers about Islam through exhibitions and dialogue. The event was attended by many and all had a great insight into Islam through the event.
